My concern nowadays is the way I handle reading situations in my classroom. I know reading Vogaye II is a bit easier because students already experienced reading Voyage I. Yet, I still have the feeling that I'm doing nothing with it except for reading to them, enjoying the story and starting a new project after the "ideas" the story offers.
However, the book has so much more to offer that I feel upset I'm not exploiting the text. Students can't read them on their own, they need to be modelled and helped, but I've not generated any situation in which I give students tools and strategies in order to became more autonomous in the process of reading voyage. So, this will be my next challenge. Give students tools to become independent readers of Voyage.
